The App Expo is a collaborative project and mega-art partnership between the Ashleys (Andrews and Andrykovitch) of Pittsburgh. It consists of installations on the World Wide Web, pop-up performances throughout the country, video, one real app, and many participating artists and technologists. The App Expo appears at technological institutions and/or in public (without warning).

In addition to creating tangible representations of digital concepts, Andrews and Andrykovitch perform as Bill and Jackie, the well-intentioned but slightly misguided lead programmers of The App Expo who seem to have been transported here from the year 1994.
